CAMPING

Winter
Camping

Test your endurance and survival skills as you set up your tent in the snow and cold. If you have never camped in the winter, you have no idea how good a campfire feels.

Our camping outings are for two or more nights and include educational  components during the day. Learn how to read a compass, follow a map, pack a backpack and many other fun outdoor activities.

We meet on Friday night to set up out tents and indulge in campfire stew for dinner. Stories abound as we sit close to the fire and dream of beaches and palm trees. This tests your ability to live without gas electricity. It is something few can boast of having accomplished. It really is fun!

Saturday starts with coffee and bacon and eggs on the campfire and you can rest assured that breakfast never taste so good. The sun comes up and warms the tent and bones. Go snowshoeing or try to find prizes with the kids on the orienteering course.

Consuming calories is a big part of this weekend. Don’t’ forget your long johns and mittens because you will need them for this outing. Price includes meals and camp fees.

Reservations required by visiting the Tours page of the 2K Adventure Gear website. Corporate trips are available.  Appropriate ages 8 - adult.

Chain

Camping

Grab the family or some friends and head to Chain O’Lakes State Park for a weekend of camping. It’s close to home and a great place if you want to try camping for the first time. If you are an “old pro” then dust off your gear and make a dash for the outdoors.

All the meals are included as well as the camping fees. Enjoy our warm summer nights sitting around the campfire. Roast hot dogs or burn marshmallows!  The kids love camping and our trips make it easy for you to take them and their friends on an outdoor adventure.

We meet on a Friday night at the campgrounds and prepare a fantastic dinner that usually includes, salmon, grilled jerked Caribbean chicken, steaks, fresh vegetables and salads. Breakfast is always a hit with almond crusted French toast or chiliquiles “campstyle”. Don’t discount the coffee with bacon and eggs – its awesome!

You can make arrangements to have us bring out kayaks to nearby Silver Lake, Wisconsin where you can paddle the lake or try your skill at fishing.

Don’t’ put off making your camping plans. Call us and get outdoors! It's two nights of fun!
